Nov. 10 -12, 2006, with the help of XinaoMDT, International Forum on MRI-Guided Interventional Therapy – MRI-Guided Cryotherapy hosted by Harvard University School of Medicine, Stanford University, Peking Union Medical College Hospital and Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, was successfully held in the International Conference Center of Beijing Kunlun Hotel. The attendance included many experts and scholars from Harvard University School of Medicine, Stanford University, Peking Union Medical College Hospital, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, XinaoMDT and West Virginia University. Many Chinese experts in imaging diagnosis and radiation therapy such as Prof. Guozhen Li, Prof. Xiangsheng Xiao, Prof. Jiaxing Xu, Prof. Cheng Zhou and Prof. Bin Zhao also attended this forum.

Signing In

During the forum, radiation therapy experts exchanged their ideas widely. They also visited Peking Union Medical College Hospital to see the operation of the world first industrialized MRI-Guided Interventional System – MRI-guided Minimally Invasive Cryotherapy System.

They expressed their confidence in the bright prospect of interventional system’s clinical application and their sincere appreciation for the achievement accomplished by XinaoMDT. They agreed that MRI Therapy System, representing the future trend of medical imaging technology, would exert revolutionary impact upon both medical modality of today and that of tomorrow. They were confident that the XinaoMDT MRI-Guided Minimally Invasive Cryotherapy System would be a big leap in operation quality with much improved operation accuracy.

Conference

This conference not only enhances the development of MRI-Guided Therapy in China but also lays a steadfast foundation for the development of MRI-Guided Therapy projects next year. The successful organization of this forum is a milestone in the history of XinaoMDT MRI-Guided Therapy Projects as well as a successful practice of XinaoMDT’s internationalization. XinaoMDT will hold more academic activities regularly and the forum next year can be undoubtedly expected to be more successful and fruitful.
