About Mr. Dikembe Mutombo
Mr. Dikembe Mutombo, born on June 25, 1966 in Kinshasa, Zaire, was a professional basketball player after he graduated from Georgetown University in 1991. He has played basketball for many famous clubs such as Denver Nuggets, Atlanta Hawks, Philadelphia 76ers, New Jersey Nets, New York Knicks and Houston Rockets. As a well-known humanitarian, he started the Dikembe Mutombo Foundation to improve living conditions in 1997 and built the Biamba Marie Mutombo Hospital in Democratic Republic of Congo. He gained many awards for his excellent performance in basketball matches and humanitarian work.
